Point Pleasant has a large share of annual vacationers who would never dream of going any place else. The boardwalk has every classic ride that you would expect from a Jersey shore beach side amusement park. Plus,Jenkinson's pier has an impressive Aquarium that is magical for young and old. Clubs and bars have great bands and a very lively summer scene. The beach is wide and well kept. No wonder that Point Pleasant Beach is such a popular town for families with children as well as young singles who seek nightlife after a day on the beach.

Point Pleasant is very well located on the Jersey shore for families with children; even activities away for the beach are very nearby. There's Six Flags Great Adventure, the Ocean County College Planetarium, and Allaire Village, an outdoor history museum of an early American industrial town.

Anyone who loves fishing has already heard about Point Pleasant's fishing boats which leave the Marina daily during the summer for half-day and all day deep sea fishing.Bring home a Bluefish dinner!

This is the original home of Jersey Mikes Subs, a sub shop that has branches now as far away as Santa Clarita, California and is noted for its high quality ingredients.
